Precautions concerning Covid-19
The health and safety of our relations and employees is our highest priority. That’s why we take precautions advised by the health organisations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Collecting objects that you have won in our auction will change. We would kindly ask you to choose shipping to your home address. Do you still prefer to pick up your objects? Then it’s only possible by appointment. Below you will find more information about shipping and collection.
During and after the auction you are welcome to check your invoice at the front desk and to complete your payment. You can pick up your purchased lots immediately after payment is completed.
Since last year we outsource part of the shipping orders to specialized courier services. The development and growth of our auction house demands a professional and efficient shipping process optimization. This development may now result in a process different from the standard you are familiar with at ‘Veilinghuis de Ruiter’. We kindly ask for your understanding.
For shipment services the auction house closely cooperates with two different courier services: Easy2Send and YSDS. Further on you will find all the necessary information on their services. If you contact these parties they will provide you with all information on your shipment (costs and term of delivery etc.)
Easy2send offers insured transport varying from straightforward courier orders to the special expertise for tailor-made transport of exclusive items, both national and international shipment. The price quotation depends on the weight and size of your piece(s) and the delivery address. Easy2send can be classified in the middle price segment of the market, because they arrange both tailor-made and middle segment deliveries.
YSDS offers tailor-made transport services for all your purchases and they are specialized in various exclusive goods and high-value items. They provide insured national and international shipment measured to the value of your property. YSDS can be classified in a higher price segment of the market, because they are experienced in arranging shipment of exclusive items on a regular basis. More info on https://www.ysds.com

Collect your purchases (by appointment only)
The collection of the purchased goods can, due to circumstances, only be done by appointment. You can make an appointment by calling +31 186 746 746. You will receive a confirmation of the pick-up appointment by e-mail. Bring this appointment confirmation with you when you come to pick up your objects. Without an appointment confirmation it is unfortunately not possible to pick up lots. You can pick up your goods in Klaaswaal, on address: Industrieweg 24.
Lots from the following categories can be collected at one of our 90 pick-up points. Please note! This service is exclusively offered for coins, banknotes and jewellery with a maximum size of L 10 cm x W 10 cm x H 18 cm. We do not charge any shipment costs for this service.
Please take into account a delivery term of one or two weeks. You will receive a pickup notification the moment your items arrive at the local office of your preference.
